RoseR wrote:Ally I will take my hat off to you if the holiday all works out. I can not believe how much work you are putting into it. Its bad enough organising a group of people that you know let alone strangers. But my worry's would be that unless you know some-one personally but just through the internet people may not be who they appear to be. People that come across as grumpy may be lovely people and vice versa. This is just my opinion but I would have thought if people are going to a certain place at the same time, exchange mobile no's, meet up some-where for lunch, have a days skiing to-gether. If every-one gets on with each other by all means book a holiday to-gether the following year. If not steer clear. As I said its just my feelings and not meant to cause any offence.

Hi Rose,
It's okay, I'm not offended. I suppose it's a new challenge for me, organizing a group of people I've never met. And finding out how to use that SurveyMonkey was very interesting, plus there seems to be a second spin-off ski holiday now from the choices I rejected of Chamonix and March

When we get back from the holiday I will let you know how it went. I guess I'm pretty easy-going and I get on okay with most people, so I'm not worried :D

Best of luck everyone with the spin-off ski holiday :D

Oh, I'm not worried about them either - I will take a refresher course in karate and judo before I go

Not sure i understand the explanation of that decision though.

Might start a "who wants to ski with Snapzzz at beginning of march" thread :-(

Me and Mr Nelly are going in March - lets go!

And Icy is up for it too! Thats 4

Chamonix in March sounds good to me as well :D

Of course, I would have to ski 100 yards behind snapzzz now that he has his new bright green jacket/blue kegs and me being in my brown jacket bought from Woolworths.

Looks like 7 then! We are doing the VB if your up for it!

I lived in Chamonix for two years and never quite got round to doing to VB. Shame on me
