Does anybody know of any decent UK bootfitters that are capable of sorting out some quite large boot balance issues? Preferably somewhere in the South of England?
Thanks
Good boot fitters/adjusters in South of England?

Filarinskis in Havant. Bought my last boots there and wouldnt use anywhere else now. I have 'problem' feet (very wide) and they spent 4 hours ensuring the boots were right, sent me off to Southampton ski slope (paid for by them) and asked me to return if there were any problems. I did cos they were not quite right and they were happy to spend more time altering to fit. Thats what I call customer service.

How Much did they charge you? and were they your own boots or did they sell them to you?
And are these guys specialist boot fitters or are they just a ski shop like snow and rock?
Cheers

Just been to Filarinskis and came away with a pair of Atomix X90's with 30% off. Top boot fitter. Spent 2.5 hours with us trying lots of boots and after choosing one, stretched it in various places to relieve obvious pressure points. We too are off to the dry slope to work out any other pressure points which he's happy to then sort out. Turned out the girlfriends last boots were 2 sizes too big!
As well as the usual footbed moulders they also have the boot shell stretching equipment, foot scanners and digital binding release testing equipment (very impressive bit of kit!).
They also have a little cafe!
Would throughly recommend.

Glad you're all sorted out. For future reference, I can recommend Colin Martin at,

He's fitted my boots, my OH's, (purchased from Filarinskis) and has been in the biz for about 18 years. He's also very good with "problem feet" issues, such as making boot space for injuries and deformity. He has all the necessary equipment necessary for boot shell modifications, and IMV charges very low rates for his skill level when compared to his competitors. :D
