When visiting Val d'Isere in March I couldn't help but notice how many Tesla's and ID 3's were in the resort.
And I got to thinking..... why not?
After a recent 620 mile round trip (charging twice) that was pretty much painless I thought I'd ask the question here?
Anyone done it?
I look forward to hearing about your experiences if you've done it.
Cheers!

"In 2021, Citizens United for Consumer Sovereignty, a South Korean consumer group, said the driving range of most EVs drop by up to 40 per cent in cold temperatures"
"at minus 15 degrees the average EV had only 54 per cent of its rated range, the study found."

I think what is key though is making sure that you have a lot in the 'tank' before you do the final ascent to any resort as this burns through miles so much quicker than on the flat. If it was cold as well I'd want to have a lot of reserve in there. (Coming down is the opposite - you actually add miles to the range)

There has been a marked increase in average temperatures in recent years.

For the most part it doesn't get anywhere near as cold as it used to do. Where I live the grass is still green, the catkins have come out and the daffodils are poking through. 20 years ago, the ground would have been frozen hard during January.

Wonder what Korea is thinking taking on Tesla in the courts, given what you guys are saying.
