What type of skis do I need?

Hi all, I'm hoping for a bit of help here. I'm off to Spitsbergen next month for a 2 week skiing tour. It will be completely self-sufficient, so we will be dragging sledges all the time.

What type of skis would I need for that?

I was going to take Salomon Scream Limited Skis with Diamir Fritschi Bindings but have been told that they are too wide (but I can't use too narrow one either). I'm really confused as to what type of ski I would need. It would be great if someone could recommend some makes.
