Fernie...boots on the ground news

Hello,

Got a gap in the diary and intend filling it with some ski magic. Have been looking at Fernie/Jan/3 weeks. With a week possibly on a course with Nonstop with a view to do the Patrol course 18/19. General outline is fly into either Edmonton or Calgary. Ive an uncle in Red deer so dont mind Ed. Grab a RV and stay in the town and travel out on the soggy gray/avalanche days and scope BC.

Anyone here from Fernie? Whats the hook ups like for RVs? Any driving restrictions for vehicles? Transport to lifts? Any steers would be helpful as its my first time to Canada.
