Snow in Soll?

For the last 15 years I have considered going to Soll but have always bottled it as it is not "snow sure". Last year they had such good snow, I decided to take the risk and visit this year. Obviously I am now concerned! I have always been extremely lucky before (well I have always gone snow sure before) and had excellent snow.

Has anyone actually been to Soll this year and if so what are conditions like?

If you have not been yet, but will be visiting soon, then what do you think our chances are?

I am going on 24 February.

Just got back yesterday...(3rd).We were very lucky, as it dumped a load down just as we were arriving (27th Jan). This gave us a great day on Sunday and enough to see us through our week; although by Friday it was getting very patchy and some runs were closed. Also, because of the high temps it was very slushy on certain slopes in the afternoon. Especially skiing over the back of the Hohe Salve into the Brixon area. The best snow was to be found in the Scheffau bowl area but you have to come back via the slushy side....

Skiing back into town was OK also...

There is a solid base down now in most areas but more snow is required. I would say you will be Ok with another couple of dumps...

:) Thanks for the reply. Things should be okay if we have a couple of good weeks of snow before I go. I cannot believe the high temperatures! Even here in the UK, my garden thinks it is spring. February used to be the month for snow! Hopefully, there is still time for the weather to come to its senses and give us a couple of heavy snow showers.

Looks like Snow in Soll tomorrow and a bit more next week - but keep your fingers crossed the temperatures stay down... you'll be ok.

Feeling a little happier as Iglu Ski are reporting ski depths at 45cm and 25cm. This is the highest I have seen since monitoring the snow levels.

I would still like to hear from anyone who has been to Soll recently
