Hi. Im off on my 5th annual ski trip this year. Want to buy my own boots and am wondering should I get them at home (Ireland) where I'll be able to return to the store if there are any probs or adjustments needed, or in Pamporovo, Bulgaria, where they will prob b much cheaper but not sure if they would spend time fitting etc. Any advice appreciated. -)

Hi Red, no point at all in having your own boots if they're not fitted properly. So either find a good boot-fitter in Bulgaria or view the extra cost back home as an investment.
Even if you buy them in Ireland you still need to make sure you're going to be fitted properly, so ask around and get a personal recommendation to find someone good.
Your own boots, properly fitted, are going to make a huge difference to your skiing and will last you for years. Spend the money, spend the time and get it right! 8)
