Yes, heres a choice of 3:

The Ice Bar (not sure if they will let the little one in) but its loud, cheesy and funny. Attached to the Strass hotel near the bottom of the Penken gondola

Happy End a small and friendly bar directly opposite the penksn gondola, run by Uli Spiess, ex racer and the first man to jump the camel bumps in Val Gardena. Buzzing with chat.

Coupe and Moore, just down the hill on the right, modern and contemporary bar where many instructors seem to hang out. Do nice food too, laid back but funky atmosphere.

Nice.

Aha, food.
Ok, you HAVE to eat at Mo's at least one night, on the main crossraods about 300m down from the penkenbahn. Cracking food, big portions, superb atmosphere often with live music.
Good food at the Italian nearby, just off the main road, I forget its name now I am afraid.
Also, go down the bottom of the village and have dinner in the Neue Post Hotel, very good food, and budget prices available too.
I can also recommend the Krammerwirt for a posh night out, and also the Kegelbahn up round the back of the Happy End - its a bowling alley to keep the kids happy, and they do lovely pizzas and cheap drinks. Walk up the hill behind the Happy End, bear right past the big field, and its about 2 mins walk up there. Big Zipfer beer sign outside.
Coupe and Moore so some fantastic avacado salads too.
Mannis is a good place to eat, always heaving though, and quite pricey, but good food and again massive portions. Half way down the main street, just before Mo's, under Mannis Sporthotel. You may have to queue and wait for 10 minutes inside.

Mainly self serve. Best to hit them at 12, or wait til 2 as they get busy esp with ski schools. The one at the top of the Penkenbahn lift is good for a self serve, good quality food, not badly priced.
The best one is over the back of Rastkogel, and theres a really nice hut halfway down red 7 on the Horberg.

Enjoy.

Had the best meal of my entire life (no exaggeration!) in The Rose. Its, erm, kinda just round the bend to the left from Scotland Yard - If you get to the Billa supermarket, you've gone too far...

...whilst I appreciate it IS hard to find a bad culinary experience in Austria, this stood out so much that I took a photo of it:

:D

[EDIT] Oh, and yes, that IS a tomato that's been cut into the shape of a rose. Fantastic.
