I couldn't bring myself to talk about the food. And I still can't.

The Borovets T bars had very little in the way of springing. If you didn't suffer from piles before you went.......

On the other hand, the runs and snow conditions were good, and the standard of ski school instruction was excellent.

Hope you are right.
I have been skiing in Bulgaria for the last 4 seasons. 3 times in Pamps and last year in Bansko. The snow cover is not always very good. Last time around we JUST skied. I cant complain but I havent exerpienced other skiing resorts in Europe yet.
The food WAS cheaper than other central european countries. Im saying it was because the prices are going up by the hour, and the service isnt really catching up.
This season I would like to try Savognin in Switzerland. Then I could compare. I was there last summer and it looked nice all green. So it must be fab when the white stuff starts coming down. (already started) but at the moment I cant say that it was not fun skiing in Bulgaria.

Stayed hotel Flora -Jan 07- hotel V-Good.

Snow cover not very good.

Had to wait at least 25 mins in the morning for Gond also due to poor conditions same sort of wait at the end of the day, if snow better we would have been able to ski back to village.

Lots of drags, piste maint not the best.

Having spent almost 25yrs in the forces I am hardly a prude but the resort was rather tacky with lots of girlie bars, lap dance establishments etc.

Good resort for apre! a little amsterdam-ish for my likeing.
