Remember the saying is 'things I must do before I die' not 'things I must do as I die'!

Well the Dolomites we go to every year we just change resort. Fantastic beauty and skiing is just so vast you can travel for miles and miles. This year we will go to Arabba again, not big on nightlife but fantastic skiing and more restaurants than it used to but its not big apres ski. We tend to sit eat and drink at night more than anything. We also do a great night toboganning which is such a laarf all of us on wooden things with no lights but the moon to guide us - usually a few injuries but fun. Check out www.simplydolomiti.com our friend Sue will fill you in

:lol:if anybody was interested in seeing this work feel free to use my details!

Season 07-08
146/27147

Going back to the previous reference to the marmolda trip. From Pozza Di Fassa it appears that its roughly a 45km round trip!

My total for the week was 206km's however if it wasn't for my snowboarding bud i would have done much much more!

Edit,,,

I have just noticed that when you put in your lift pass if you look at the map, it shows in which order you rode the lifts, it shows a picture moving up the lift showing which order you did it in! How cool!

Hi there
I live in Arabba and Santa Cristina, Val Gardena. I can recommend both for variety of pistes, good snow, good food and great value for money. With regards to nightlife and apres bars I think Val Gardena would be a better choice, Arabba has just a few bars but is within easy access to Corvara which has one very lively apres venue. I organise holidays to a number of resorts around the Sella Ronda, please check website www.simplydolomiti.com
