One more clue. This is the beginner slope.

Guess what ?

Ross has it.
This is being built at my local hill, which like many ski areas has had a short magic carpet for years. Now they are building one the full length of the beginner hill to serve two runs (necessitating the bridge over one of the runs). They are great for very young kids and absolute beginners.
I'm guessing it will end up like this one from the magic carpet web site.

You mean Minneasnowta. Yes, we don't have much elevation but we have the temps and small hills and river bluffs. Imagine having reliable skiing in the suburbs of a major city. Six ski areas within a hours drive of downtown Minneapolis. Thousands of kids in high school race competitions, several hundred adults in ametaur race leagues, thousands of kids hitting the slopes after school.
Tino was very close with his conveyer belt for cases of beer .
These conveyer belts are a boon to nervous beginner skiers and boarders. Many of whom give up befor they finaly learn to use the tow rope or J bar. Time will tell if giving an easy way up to the top of the run for such people is a good idea
