Have learnt yesterday through a works meeting, Boots the Chemist, who I work for are re-locating their head office to Switzerland. Still keeping one in Nottingham but moving widely into Europe now.
Oh just think re-location package the lot, worth looking in to I think.

Oooh, how exciting Rose. May I suggest a specialist forum which could answer lots of the little questions about relocating to Switzerland.

Well, I have been to Englelberg and Davos/Klosters. What would you like to know? It all depends on what you consider useful I guess!

I really wouldn't bother, wildly inaccurate and all totally miserable, it's baffling why they don't all leave :) presumably they can't find the airport or something

Obviously the job situation would be fine for me, there would be a lot of legal stuff and registering with Swiss Pharmaceutical Society, working under Swiss pharmacists for probationary periods, but not sure what Hubby could do. I would think we would still both need to work for a good few more years.

I went through several interviews with a big medical company in Winterthur just outside Zurich, would have loved to live there. But christ Switzerland is soooooooo expensive!!

Mind you saying that, once you are let in and paying tax you really are quite sorted as far as I understand.

Yes, there are doom mongers and miserable sods everywhere ;-) I still maintain that it has value for Rose, because there are a huge number of links within the site.
