60. (or is it 61 as there were 2 56??) When you fall over skis go everywhere and there are no kind fellow skiiers around to pick up your various items of clothing, hat, skis....using them as a handy tool to fish everything back!

Hi all, seems a good place for my first post!

61. for playing noughts & crosses in the snow whilst waiting for the go slows in your group to catch up.

62. for placing between moguls to create a rail to ski or board across

63. for carrying your ski's - you know that trick of hooking the wrist straps around the skis either end of the skis & hooking the pole tips into the wrist straps effectively making the poles a long carrying handle - make sense?

64. as a walking stick if you've injured your knee, leg, ankle or hip.

65. as a walking stick if you've NOT injuried your knee, leg, ankle or hip to get a free ride through the airport on one of the buggies.

Sorry can't think of any more for now, but edging towards the magic 100!

Everything in moderation except moderation itself!

69. Use for propulsion on the lift line or the flats (did we really miss that one?)

70. Hold both poles up in front of you to absorb tree impact when you bite it in the woods.

71. Use to test the "edgability" of the snow. If you can stand your pole up in it it's not hardpack. So you Western skiers can quit crying..

72. Brandish one like a spear over your head when you beat your rival down the hill. Singing Wagner is optional.

73. Confidently use them to bring timing and rhythm to your turns.
That's one of my challenges these days.

70. tape 4 together in the right shape, practice dancing with stick partner.
71.Exercise pole.
72. Making set of weaves for dog agility.
73. Hanging jacket on while having a break for coffee, chocolate or beer.
73. Gently tapping other half/friend in snow blizzard/bad visability to tell them its time to leave the mountain for a beer.
74.adding undies to the snow god sacrifice tree!
75. Poking fallen spanish skier to make sure there alright.

Hope these help!

76. littering under the lift (always seem to be rental poles).

77. Boosting the sale of P-tex sticks (poles under the lift that have been "groomed in").

78. All kinds of uses in and around the lift station (the pieces of poles that have been retrieved from under the lift after they have been groomed in).
