I skied the Face the day after the Mens Super G last December, talk about squeaky bum time! It had a distinctively blue tinge to it.
One of the worlds best runs, but I'd recommend doing it in normal conditions! I was intermediate the first time I skied it years ago, well worth a go later in the week if the conditions are good and you're confident.

La Sache is a great run, just watch the conditions on the lower slopes. Lower league than the Face, so try Sache first and work up to Face.

Get over to Fornet, via the scare chair. Best snow in the area at the top but it's always colder in the Fornet valley for some reason.

Make this place your last stop of the day for a drink before skiing back to your accommodation.

I also skied Face in December last year when it was very cold, unfortunately is was very Icy nearly all the way down which did give me a bit of a wobble. I followed 4 boarders who seemed to tumble their way down whilst nervously giggling and high 5ing after every wipe out.

I would prefer to ski it with a bit of the soft stuff on it to cut some turns down it but, got down alive :-)

The Espace Killy is a vast area to suit all .Not the prettiest but hugely enjoyable for all levels.

At the top I thought my edges were in an ok condition. At the bottom I thought edges, what edges?

Montana. Fantastic, stayed in that one. We stayed in the apartment, you in apartment or hotel? Location is great - red lion pub at the end of the road. In the town restaurant called la loupe. Fantastic. Hope you have fun!
