It's not in France!

Have you had a look at Les Gets? - It's a short transfer from Geneva, has dedicated ski areas for children, an ice skating rink, lots of activities for children & families & a free train to transport you around the village.

And full of Brits .......

We only ever went in mid January & it was never full of anyone of any specific nationality! (I think most of the Brits tend to head for Chatel)
The plan is.... there's no plan!

Chamonix alley, only 3 km from Switzerland and 25km from Italy; Ski in 3 different countries.
Plenty of activities among skiing in the village : ice rink, dogsledding, ski joering, sledging, pool...

Val Cenis is brilliant for children and mixed groups. It's got the longest green run in Europe, so everyone can get down safely, and a bubble lift so non-skiers can get up to mid-station and watch the skiers from the cafe there. Cheap by French standards and lots for non-skiers.

Hi

Montgenevre - been taking my kids there for years and they are now of an age when they go off on there own and are very safe. I know some great ski instructors at ESF if you want them who my kids love either for ski or snow board.

All of the above.
Avoid Serre Chevalier. We don't want the place filling up with more skiers, in particular ankle biters.
