Hello! I'm compiling a report for the International Ski Federation on the cost of lift tickets for children which of course vary greatly from resort to resort and country to country. I put together a little survey with 7 quick questions and the chance to comment and would be grateful if anyone interested could fill it in (Before 22nd November), link below, Thanks: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/W8B3SX5

Done!
Kids are the skiers of tomorrow, so the industry needs to do all it can to get them onto the slopes and hooked at an early age...

Whilst I partly agree with Wickers as kids need to be encouraged to do sport I can also see the other side.
a. they use the same lifts so it costs the operators the same.
b. they often need to be on the same lift as parents...this sometimes means chair lifts go up half full
c. Some operators stop the lifts for kids to get on and off and thus slows the whole process for everyone else
d. (They inflate the cost of MY b****y holiday by insisting on going in school holidays!! )
However in principle I believe he is right although I would be happier if lift passes in general were cheaper

Whilst I have a child to pay for I would love their lift pass to be really cheap!
However what we don't want is much cheaper kids passes paid for by far more expensive adult ones, which aren't exactly cheap already.

I now think lift passes are extremly over priced, the price of lift passes for a family of three are now close to being the same price of an apartment in resort ……… they are pricing them selfs out of the market while we will still go a couple of times per year, encouranging new familys on a winter holiday will continue to decline as new business :(
