Hi i am in Reberty on my own in 3V and considering doing Mont de Vallon tomorrow.. I see there are two reds up there ... Combe de vallon and campagnol.
Has anyone done these? Are they very steep?
I must add the snow is spectacular with a metre of new snow just two days ago. Yet not icy at all.
Any reports much appreciated as ever.
Mont de vallon?

They are both "good" reds but not especially difficult.
Go up and do both.

They are great runs. The top of the Combe Vallon usually has moguels, but once past them it's great fun. It's that wide it isn't hard to find a place to take a breather and enjoy the scenery. Well worth a visit, and there are much harder reds in the 3V.

Thank you!
In the end only did La Masse. Maybe Vallon later on in the week.
Very funny early morning encounter.
A group of twenty Polish people on a works day out adopted me as we were all waiting for the lift to go up and gave me their hi vis jacket to wear and insisted on a photo shoot.
I'd have stayed with them all day but they were black run only kinda guys...
Rather slushy from early on today so retired early after enjoying Allamagne and Becca runs in Les Menuires (in a white out)
very proud that I'm not at all phased by skiing alone now as long as I can just make out the next piste post...
