I am a childminder and keen skier and was wondering if anyone had ever used or knew anything about the nannying / childminding service where parents get to ski without their kids who are looked after, taken to their ski lessons etc
I am thinking of doing a seasonal job in the alps offering this and wondered if anyone had any thoughts or tips etc. am English, middle aged, female, Ofsted rated outstanding childminder....
Any thoughts or ideas welcomed, as ever.

Hi,
Snowbandit has a user name of snowb4ndit in case you have problems finding her.

I used a kindergarten in Austria years ago for my kids then aged 7 and 4.
They skied for 2 hours morning and afternoon and had lunch and play for a couple of hours.
They were ok, but there were omly a couple of other English kids for them to make friends with.

If i did it again I'd go for an English company with other English kids, which is the sort of thing it sounds like you are thinking of?

Yes thanks. There seems a lot of different ways of doing it. I could advertise first and set it up before people go out. Agencies seem a bit inflexible - ie block half days but individually might be more flexible.
