I know I should have asked this question days ago, as we are going out on Saturday skiing, but can anyone give me any ideas as to some nice, cheap if possible, restaurants in Zell and See and Kaprun. Lunch time snack/sandwich type places also. And, suggestions please as to what good, but cheap wine, is available too to buy from the supermarkets. And suppose I should ask what the beer is like. My Husband is a Stella drinker in the UK so anything along those lines that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Can't spoil him too much can I!

Never been, so not really qualified to make suggestions about cafes and restaurants. I know booger all about Austrian wine as well. What I do know is that any Austrian pilsner will almost certainy be miles better than the 'Stella' that is available in the UK. Have a good one. :-)

I foresee the odd impracticality with that idea. Zell am See and Kaprun not being in Germany...

Not universally. Which is why I said 'impracticality' not 'impossibility'. ;-)
