Hey guys!

Does anybody know if there's any option of renting a snowboard suit somewhere in Saalbach-Hinterglemm or in the area?

Thanks -)

Hi dan. I've never heard of anyone renting the suit before. You would be better off going to tk max and buying something as they are selling them all off now as they class the ski season as over. I was there yesterday and they were all on the sale rack.

Unless you have a particular reason for not doing so (flying with a budget airline with no hold luggage?), wouldn't it be easier to hire in the UK? I think you can hire jacket and salopettes for about £40. As Ade says, you would get sorted in TK Maxx (and probably for well under £100!) Go twice and you've got your money back. :) Alternatively, take a look on the Surfanic website. Perfectly serviceable gear if you're not fussed about what the 'brand snobs' think.

Also not my first choice but my mate got some great deals from sports direct. They do a lot of the Nevica range. Graham bell (ski Sunday) endorses them all the time. That's what he wears on said programme. My mate swears by it and he is not short of a few bob but doesn't splash out on ski gear. I'm a bit of a sucker but that's another story. ;) as for luggage issues just wear it If there is no room in your luggage Just a few thoughts. Or you could hire a" ONESIE" and be the envy of the saalbach/hinterglem snowboard fraternity!! ;)

+1 for the Nevica gear. I know the proprietor isn't everybody's cup of tea and the SD shops look like a cross between a chimps' tea party and a jumble sale, but some of that Nevica gear looks cracking value. With a football-mad 8 year-old boy, I can't afford to be too precious or principled about being spotted in there:-)
