hi I am a high school senior and for my senior project in my tech class i may be working on a project to help get adaptive skiers on and off lifts but we need to know if it is a problem. please go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ski_adapt_lift and fill out a short survey it should only take a few minutes. thank you very much for the help.

I'd like to point out that adaptive skiing doesn't always mean sitski, and that a lot of adaptive skiers just need a little extra time to vacate the lift area, this is hard to solve with a device but easy to solve with good communication between the staff members operating the lift. eg, any special needs or person with musculoskeletal issues that might well ski upright would benefit from the chair slowing down signifigantly at the ramp.Disability does not only mean wheelchair.

Not sure how many responses you're going to get on here, there won't be many who use or know someone that has used a sit-ski.
I'd suggest contacting http://www.disabilitysnowsport.org.uk/ as they might be willing to pass your survey details on to their members.
