Recessions are about preparation, we have been preparing for the last 18 months so as of yet we have not felt the bite :wink:

let's get back on thread now.

there seem to be a lot of people calling for helmets to become compulsory now. I have spoken to five skiers since this tragedy and only one says they've decided to wear a helmet. should it be about personal choice?

I think it can only be about personal choice (apart from the kidz). It would be daft if it wasn't.. I wear a helmet 90% of the time but there are times where I just don't, I think it would discourage people from trying out the sport.

Yes I think helmets should be worn by choice. I, like Pablo most of the time but there are still times I dont. I hardly ever wear one Xcountry skiing, dont know why I suppose I think that not so much speed involved, nor so many people about.
