I have just bought a Red Tracer helmet. It is compatible with the REDphones that go in the ear pads. Anyone here used them? Any good?

With respect I have never understood why you would want to remove one of your senses when skiing or boarding.

With respect I don't intend to have it blaring out, to be honest I usually only use it in lifts when I am bored.

Plus, I don't understand how in forums in general a question is asked then a smart non relevant comment is made.

Sorry it is a bug bear of mine. As I am sure people on the snow who are deaf is one of yours?!

My comment was not meant to get you rattled my friend but show concern to peoples safety on the piste but if you find safety non relevant I can understand why you feel the comment should not have been made. Enjoy your skiing and stay safe.

I hear what you say and I apologize for being a bit too blunt.

I agree that there are some people on the slopes 'in their own world'. But listening to a bit of chilling music is better than the inane conversation I am subjected to on lifts at times.

Music on, goggles down, close eyes....and relax. Just remember to wake up before you go round again.

Sorry for my rant. Safety is always relevant and at the top of my list.

Did the lifty slam the brakes on and leave you swaying?!

I forgot to let go of a drag once whilst looking at the scenery (female variety)....was not a good look as I.tumbled into the snow :(

Anyway, I was going up in the Gondola this one time, and man! ~ Nothing but a Lift full of bods with Music on, goggles down, closed eyes.
I was desparate for a bit of inane conversation. I specialise in that. I would have mumbled their ski-socks off.
