hi all, im looking to get some new skis in the off season and so save some pennies. (which means i cant test drive any)
im looking for a true all-mountain twin tip.... there are loads to choose from, but im not sure which to go for.
ive been skiing on some old 1080's for the last 5 years (very first 1080's made) and want to try somthing different.
ive done a bit of research and found a few i like the looks of, here are my requirements: mid / fat waist, decent side cut / shape for some on piste banter and either a twin tip or partial twin tip for park banter / off piste manouverability (you know when your half way down a gully and tips are wedged into that cliff)
anyway, ive found the new k2 apache recon 2007 has turned up tails but its gonna be pricey, also the line prophet 80 looks good, but not sure if its gonna have enough shape to it.
any suggestions would be most appreciated. thanks.

I have line 100s and they seem to have great shape. They don't look it but they're easy to manuver. You might want to look at the Line elizabeths or the Line Sir Francis Bacons

Been told the new K2 Silencer's are a good budget buy (£250 w bindings Ellis Brigham). They have run out of the standard bindings at the min so u can get a free upgrade (to M12's or something, don't remember exactly). Public Enemy's have got a higher cut tho.
