I was in Morzine for the whole season last year, the weather was pants (the worst season for snow in decades apparently) but we had a brilliant time and still managed to ski right up until April.
We will be going back in December for another season and we are expecting better conditions...Surely it can only get better this year!
You will have a fab' time.
See you in the Tibetan bar!

I've been a couple of times - really Like Morzine itself.
Not overly convinced at the skiing: it's quite low lying so weather can be an issue and, for me it seems overcrowded. Naturally the two can be linked - if there's not too much snow everyone is squeezed into the higher areas.
They still seem to be building in Avoriaz which will make things worse.

Thanks for the comments, the Chalet is cheap and has a hot tub, sauna and swimming pool  So just need the weather for the start of our skiing holiday.
It gives me something to look forward too. Investigating ski passes, deciding on what skis to go for and buying a new helmet :!:

The only people I know who have skied Morzine moaned about the weather. It tends to rain a lot there, although there are obviously weeks in the season when it will be perfect. Its not somewhere I'd choose to go because of that risk.
