The only thing I do to roses is dead head them.

Rose is a fine drink, assuming of course you select the right grape.

Yes, Prosecco is the poor mans champagne, but if you ask me its a lot nicer and easier to drink (unless you talking a 2000 Bollinger of course.....)

£3.50......one wonders what that stuff is actually like, but the Lidl Reserva Prosecco at £5.99 is actually very good. I normally get the Maschio from Tesco which is around £12 a bottle.
You normally pay £25-£30 for a bottle out, so I dont call that cheap.

Anyway, you boys with no class or style stick to your Merlot's and Chardonnay's. Must be something to do with being north of Watford Gap.

Just out of interest Tony, have you ever tried the Grande Annee Rose? I think 2004 is the current offering from Bollinger.
