Help - Where for beginners April 9th

All advice welcome. We're flying into Grenoble on 9th April and looking for a resort not too far away with decent greens and blues for relative beginners. Were planning on Alpe D'Huez but seems most of the lower down runs current unskiable - any ideas?

Have a look at Les Deux Alpes - quite similar to ADH but with quite a big beginners area up the mountain (ride up and down on the gondola, ski a bit and chill with a beer in the sunshine when you're tired and/or the snow gets slushy).
