Anyone used Leki quick release ski poles or similar?

Howdy folks.

Has anyone here had experience of Leki's trigger 1 quick release ski poles?

I find it strange that these days you can snap on a pair of skis in a second or two but people still faff about for ages trying to force their hands between two flat nylon straps on their poles. (As you may have gathered I'm not the most tolerant of chaps on the planet…)

The quick release that Leki use looks good at first glance so I wondered if anyone here used them or if there are other alternatives? (Please do not suggest an ironing board in lieu of skis :twisted: I'm not ready to become one of those yet.)

Sorry Owen but I have no need for a quick release pole they have been about for a few years now
and I suppose aimed at the pro market.

I haven't used them, but ski with several people who do.They seem well liked, especially by racers with padded bulky gloves. I haven't heard anyone complain about any problems.

Fair point. Maybe sir would like the version with built in hip flask more. (I kid you not!)
