Les Arcs - any mountain restaurant recommendations please?

Looking for any advice on a good mountain restaurant in Les Arcs - probably nearer the 1950 and 2000 side, rather than the 1600/1800 side.
Its for a group of around 18 people for lunch and so want to try and find somewhere where the service is good, nice views, ease of access (mixed ski ability group) and its not too busy...
Obviously would like good food but does not need to be too flash or too pricey!
Any suggestions would be very welcome..
Thanks
Paul

Food was good last time I was there but that was a couple of years ago.

You can also read the Les Arcs season thread to see other places that have already been mentioned. Hope that helps.

Two or three good restaurants are the Belliou La Fumee which is located by the car park in Pre Saint-Esprit ,Les Chalets de L'Arc which is located on the main piste just above Arc 200 ( s is also an outside cabin/hut with seating that serves hot tarteflette, pizza, quiche etc for very reasonable prices, and my other favourite is La Soliet ( think it's spelt correctly which is reached via the Lanchettes chairlift in Arc 2000 , and a good ski halfway down to Le Pre.....also in Le Pre if the snow is good enough to ski all the way down is the bar La Ferme although meals can be had on the spot sometimes it's best to arrange something in advance if it's during busy holiday periods.
Have a great time , and a safe enjoyable trip.
Jon.

If you can persuade your friends to venture a little further or for another day- then I highly recommend the Blanche Muree,a pretty chalet located at the edge of the forest just above the intersection of La Foret and Barmont (both blue) To get there ski partway down Charmettoger (blue) turn left down a blue access run just to the left of the Transarc mid-station and Charmettoger chairlift. Great food or snacks, good banter with the friendly staff and lovely, large, sunny balcony terrace. They'll probably give you all freebies or even the bottle if you order a genepi ! You might already be there but thought I'd post this as you might have wifi. Have fun !

Post lunch update...and thanks for all the help and suggestions.
Chalet Les Arcs was chosen and turned out to be very good. They were very helpful in the reservation process and clearly used to working with groups. Easy access for all levels of skiers, but also still on the mountain with good views. We waited about 15 minutes for service when we got there (dying of thirst!) but as soon as we found the right waitress it all happened smoothly and was good food. We were on the second service at 1400 and by that time they had run out of 'plat du jour' and 'dessert de jour'. Good tartiflette though…
So a thumbs up for Chalet Les Arcs at Arcs 2000… good for groups!
Cheers, Paul
