Booking direct is an option if you want to hold back to see if the snow arrives and prices compare favourably to those found in the brochures. One caveat I would add is that flight prices tend to increase the nearer you get to departure date. Sauzeonline.com can help you organise everything you need from accommodation to pre booking equipment and lift passes.

Its all relative. You can pick up a slice of pizza (take away) for a couple of Euros however if you want a really nice pizza in a restaurant then 10-15 euros is the norm. At todays prices this is between 8 and 12 pounds. Last time I looked you'd expect to pay around £12 for a dominos pizza. Believe me these are much nicer than Dominos!!

Hi Lynn,

Hopefully you'll find restaurants in Sauze really resonable with a good choice of local dishes along with the generic italian favourites. There's one in the old town called Del Falco that has a special skiers menu that runs along side its normal al a carte menu. This offers a really good substantial 3 course meal for €25. You choose from soup of the day or pasta to start with followed by a roast dish with vegetables topped off with a freshley baked dessert.

If your looking for just a Pizza or pasta dish then expect to pay between 10 and 15 euros. All the restaurants have menu boards outside so check them out before going in.

If you'd like any further information on Sauze then please visit sauzeonline.com The new site will be launced in a couple of weeks offering an online shop and regular weather and snow reports. See you in Sauze!
Hi Simon, like pretty much everywhere in Europe Sauze is suffering a little from lack of snow. There is some so its not all doom and gloom but it could get a little desperate if no more falls between now and when you go.

My website gives full 7 day forecasts and also webcam images so you can keep a track on whats happening. the URL is below.

All the best,
Sauze & Jouvenceaux
