I'm off again at Xmas, will be my ermmm seventh(?) season there now with about 10 to 12 trips in total, family and boys trips (family this time at xmas of course :) )
Have same recommendations as those above to be honest, especially get drunk before you hit the Igloo... For a first thing in the morning blast, with good weather head up Chavannes (new bubble this year but hit the six man chair I suggest) then down a sweet blue (with off piste options) down into the bowl and up Le Ranfoilly for a straightforward 5 - 10 minute Red back into same bowl... repeat until legs are ready ;) By the way don't hit the second dip too hard and fast on the right or you land a mogul field... Alternatively head down into the same bowl but go up Grains d'Or Express and hit the red down into Perrieres if the weather isn't too great up top. If I think of anything else I'll post again... Oh and I recommend 412 on the main strip for burgers, kebabs etc Also new owner is running the restaurant/bar du Stade behind the ESF nursery area, I was there in the summer and he is making major changes, could be a good new venture to keep an eye on. Le Pic was always good for a laugh and now I think is called the Dublin Inn (?) at bottom end of village towards Morzine. Run by a London Irish Spurs fan, but you can't have it all I guess :) Maybe see you out there |
