Mürren - Schilthorn is at a crossroads at the moment for its future, please spend 5 minutes on this survey.

Last night at the Schilthorn above Mürren Prince Edward was handed his own handmade Skeida 007 Skis. Prince Edward Earl of Wessex was at the Schilthorn to celebrate the 90th Year anniversary of the Kandahar Ski Club.

Some lifts have been open over the last two weekends with the official start being Saturday 14th December. Not to put a downer on the situation, no new snow forecasted for the next few days with mild temps expected (2500m+)....
Positive spin is...I would rather be there than anywhere else !! |

Mürren today....absolutely stunning after the heavy snowfall Thursday night/Friday morning (30cm in the village and 50cm higher up,lifts still closed but people going skiing ;))!
