Mürren at 1650m is the highest village in the Jungfrau Region and snow sure so you will have no problem here. I would suggest you leave your car in Interlaken and jump on the train to Lauterbrunnen from Interlaken Ost train station so you don't have the hassle of parking (at Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg),traffic and the parking fees as your lift pass might cover the trains. The train journey to Lauterbrunnen is only 20 mins (each way)you then get off and walk two minutes to the cablecar up to Grütschalp to Winteregg via a train(takes 12 mins) ** total travel time to ski 38 minutes as per SBB**

I have never been skiing in the Jungfrau region before and just booked a week after Xmas. Staying in Interlaken. Really looking forward to it.

You will have a great time but i would go to Mürren-Schilthorn area due to its height and if you lucky with the snow you could ski back down to Lauterbrunnen. What made you decide on staying in Interlaken??

Pistenbully tracking the pistes on the Allmendhubel above Mürren ready for the start of the season. On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November 2014 the Lauberhorn chairlift at Kleine Scheidegg will be open above Wengen(i am surprised they are doing that as the FL will be over 3000m this weekend, temps don't drop until end of next week)
