This is an excellent off piste run starting from the Schilthorn(weather permitting and with a guide)

Hi, no snow at all at the moment. It is far too warm. They say the temps are going to drop at the end of the month with a small of amount of snow but that's a long way off.

To be honest I don't think you will get to ski except up at the Jungfraujoch.

Today NBC-Broadcast live form the swiss alps: "Where's Matt? He's standing on 'top' of a continent!"

Matt revealed that he was located at the "top of Europe" this morning, standing on the Jungfraujoch research center in the Swiss Alps. Did you guess correctly from Matt's teasers? If not, here's a quick breakdown of how you could have been clued in.

"Time is of the essence" hinted at Switzerland, which is famous for its clocks and watches, while "train our sights" referred to the fact you need to take a train to get there. Matt also the very first Where in the World journey in Cairo, Egypt, in front of the Sphinx. This morning, Matt was located at the Sphinx Observatory. Mürren at Chirstmas and New Year is superb and highly recommend it. Still a car-free village with amazing views, fast lifts and no Q's !!

As mentioned above, it is the highest village in the region which means its snow sure.

An excellent atmosphere in the hotels around that period aswell as the visiting cow bell convey which visits every bar and hotel, its a must see/hear !!

Take a look at this thread with pictures of Mürren
