or shotguns...or a combination of all three :?:
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

Too quick for them. I'd prefer a blunt implement of sorts.

remind me never to invite you over to meet my 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 horses, however I will wave at you in your nice new car whilst tucked up behind my horsebox

Sorry I'm a bit left behind with this,
Rose - that's awful about your son and his teeth. Many years ago I had one wisdom tooth where the bone had grown over it - is this what impacted means? I had to have the bone burnt off before they could pull the tooth out, and what a horrible smell of burning bone. And afterwards I was totally shattered and in agony for a couple of days. I hope your son has an easier time.

Tony - I think the subject of dogs fits in very well with getting fit for ski-ing. All I did before my 3 day ski-ing holiday was walk the dog 3 times a day, up and down steep hills around my house for a mile each time, and my legs were fine ski-ing. My arms were a bit achy though, carrying skis and sticks up and down gondola steps etc.

DaveMac - I'm surprised you ever took another guide dog puppy after the first one ate all your most prized possessions (except your skis!).

Well, I made it through the week, with around 20 hrs tennis, 4/5 hours swimming, a couple of thousand leg presses on the gym machine, climbed the local hill, yow, steep, near vertical rock faces. A little bit of painting, while my OH went horseriding.

All at 26~29 degrees during the daytime, and a nice sit outside temp of 17~19 degrees at night. Great food, and far too much wine.

Tennis academy coaching was top class, plus several bounce games and two tournaments.

Modesty forbids me to say who won the main competition,(the Warriors Tournament!) Let's just say that J2Ski did quite well!

It's a shame not to enjoy a glass of wine or several with a meal though (soft drinks just aren't the same), particularly as we have eight cases under the stairs crying "drink me" in very loud, pleading voices. OH got a little click happy on Virgin Wines Auctions, though we did get some absolute bargains

As for the chocolate, I'm female, what more can I say..... :(

Guilty here too :D What, only 8 cases, I think my stash is down to about that now. And, who waits for Tuesday

I'm a big fan of wine with dinner, or lunch on occasion at weekends. We went to Calais to stock up one year, we calculated that with what we had bought it should last us about 6 months, we bought it in November and it had gone by Christmas
