I think you are misreading OldAndy, Emma. He is one of nature's gentlemen, and hence does not slag off other resorts.

Sadly Dave's humour recovery therapy wasn't the success we were hoping for, so anti depressants will still have to be administered possibly in larger doses.

I must admit to getting writers block on the black ski run idea (what came to mind was unsuitable for an adult audience) and I can see no benefit in slagging off resorts.
If I were succesful everyone would go to the best resorts with me and the queues would treble in length ......

I did have a very enjoyable ski in Leogang once - great snow, atrocious visibility, wonderful stuff in amongst trees all over the Salbach/Hinterglemm valley to play in, glad you are having a good one Dave

But a word for Andy ~ I maintain it is impossible to define "Best Resorts". For me it is Niederau and Arapahoe Basin. For Rustyinn, it is Zell am Zee, for you, your areas in France, for Rose, it is Ruka.
When I was younger, my ambition was to ski (and play guitar) with John Denver, in his home town of Aspen. Then he went and got dead. However, Aspen is on my horizon, along with another visit to Vail.
It is a passing mention that our family is looking after a lovely young lady from Colorado, who has relatives owning properties in the aforesaid two places.......!!!!!

I was once related to the resort director for Beever Creek - but the relationship disapeared before I could take him up on his invitation to visit.
