I was just reading a report in nevasport.com which is saying that the main snowfalls in the Pyrenees are likely to be late this year. Until the end of this month there is no significant snow predicted. However, there is optimism that there will then be snowfalls through to March. 2010 was a very good season, one of the coldest and a difficult act to follow. Right now there is 'adequate' snow, after the good start in November, but many stations may not be able to keep all their runs open, it says.
I hope that this news won't 'p' you off too much, folks. :(
Once again this year, the Sierra Nevada, way down in the south of Spain, has the highest snowfalls and reports depths of over 4 metres in many places. Humpf.

Snowing loads in Soldeu right now. Had 2 feet overnight and there's no let up as I type this out. Pistes are in great condition and some good skiing to be done. Visibility is poor and it's flipping cold! Anyone coming out at the weekend should be in for a right good time

I know I shouldn't complain, and will look back at this, as a great winter, but even I could do with a break. I think this will be one to remember in N America.
Better fire the the petrol driven snow blower again. Maybe I can cause a little local warming.

I'm not sure how you found your way to the Andorra forum to post this useless post but thanks for a totally un helpful reply. Keep up the good work.

I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain
