If you click 'preview' before you send the message you can check for this sort of thing. It puzzled me as well the first time it happened to me. I suppose it must be a key shortcut to the smilies.

On that note, I checked the Tigne website for lift pass prices yestereday. Do the prices quoted on the site include access to ski in Val d'isere as well, or will there be an extra charge for that?

Not sure on that , i know with some passes you get 1 day skiing in the adjoining area included.
I think its worth paying an extra say £40 for the week and get a pass that covers Tignes & Val.You only have to go down the wrong run and end up finding your pass won't get you back up because you've stepped out of your local boundary and then thats £10 stright away.

Hi ,

Good runs in L'Espace Killy , Le Face in Val , Le Tour Du Charvet ( off-piste that takes you round the back of Val ) , The Wall in Tignes ( in my youth had a good tumble almost top to bottom.....needed a stiff drink after that :D ) , Le Vallon du Sache down into Les Brevieres ( think thats the one ) and the nice off piste run from the top of the Toviere lift down into La Daille called Le Piste Perdue.

I like everyone,

Yest the L'espace Killy covers all of the linked ski areas ( Le Fornet , Val D'Isere , Tignes , Tignes Les Brevieres ).

It should also get you a days discounted skiing in Ste-Foy , Les Arcs/La Plagne , La Rosiere and the Tree Valley's resorts ( but would be best to double check ).
