Cheers guys. Not likely to get much money back as their books definetly don't balance and as it always is with these things the banks will be paid out first. I think we can expect 15p for every pound! Sad thing is we used TMS last season & got excellent promt reliable service from them with an exchange rate of 1.14€ to the pound when the high street banks & PO were trading at 1.04€.

You live & learn, if it looks to good to be true it usually is too good to be true.

That's a bummer,Finn. Don't suppose you paid by credit card?

Unfortunately not, only payment methods accepted were either via Internet banking or bankers draft/personal cheque.

Not going to let it spoil our trip.

The in laws lost £3k with this, and there is a group on facebook called Action Against Crown Currency Exchange......Some people on there have lost considerably more with 1 person losing £113,000....Now that`s awful!!!! Will definitely be going to the Post Office for my ski spends!
A bad day on the slopes is better than a good day in the office !

Very can-do, Finn. In your case, I suspect that if you add up your previous years gains over high street conversions, you would still be ahead of the game.
