I think the 2 draglifts on the beginners slopes are free in Les Carroz (Grand Massif area). It's supposed to be a picturesque, family-orientated resort. We're going there on 6 March, so will be able to report back. I guess that's too late for you M-G?

Plenty of useful help there people, thanks.

I wish we could find/start a list.

For instance:
As I said Saas Fee is 2001 (8yrs and younger)
Obergurgl 2001 (8yrs and younger)
Zermatt seems to be 2000 (8yrs and younger)

for Full passes!!!

...unless i've misread something!

It's a shame passes in France seem so expensive comparatively for kids (I reckon on 66%-75% of adult prices), whereas Switzerland are often 50% and also more generous with the free age.

My son was born 2001, so I'm interested in that date or better.

Hope the info on Saas Fee and Zermatt is useful to others (I'd double check though).
