Levelnine sports had an interesting description of that ski. So much much for some of the so called women's skis :lol: So this would definitely work for a dude.

Both Trencher and Bandit are on the "mark' !

Women "specific" skis are different in internal construction and cosmetics!
90% of women skis I have cut open at core have foam/layered core !

As Trencher noted,,at your weigh range you might be a "tad" on the limit of the skis for two reasons;
1. women skis = softer flex and softer torsion index! This means they will bend easier. Too much weight means you will "stress" skis at all times, resulting in short ski life !

2. Soft flex and softer torsion means you will get softer ski performance at 165 lbs. The ski will not hold your edges on tight carving turn ! The ski will not "hold you" at tails on tight carve turns! The skis will not "hold" you between moguls !This has nothing to do with speed,,but does have a great deal to do with edge control !

When you read that a women's ski is forgiving,,,,that means it allows some margin of skier error ! ie softer edges !

You are already at limit ( based on weight ) of ski's performance parameters !

As noted by others,,try other skis first !!!!

Hope this helps you !
