bandit wrote:adamhildreth, welcome to J2ski :D I'm heading out to Switzerland this week, and I'm expecting very cold weather, around -20c. Everything said ^^ is spot on. I'll be wearing a Buffand probably a balaclava under my helmet

Does that mean you will be skinny skiing??
 )

I have lost quite a few days, there was a delayed opening at Sunshine Village this morning. Didn't get the temperature from the mountain but the town of Banff was -35 degrees.

Does anyone have any recommendations for face masks that are not going to retain moisture (from breathe) and thus Freeze! Which would be a lot worse solution than not wearing one :).

i have a silk one that is very good but havent had it in temperatures that cold yet!! my camelpak does keep freezing though which is most annoying!!!

OK, news from the Bow Valley, Lake Louise only had a beginners T-bar open today and Sunshine didn't manage to get the lifts spinning at all. Not sure on Norquay.
