Rose - 73 pairs of shoes
You are about as bad as Marie Antoinette! You surely don't actually wear all 73 pairs!
Although, now I think about it, that's pretty much the same number as the number of teddy bears my younger daughter used to have in her bed :D I had to make them a hammock out of rasberry netting above her bed, hanging from the ceiling, in the end, because she kept growing in size, and they kept growing in number, until they no longer all fitted in her bed.

How far do you expect to walk ? Normally in winter time N. USA/Canada, the guy drops the woman off at the restaurant door, then parks the car  As others have said, snow clearing may be very good, but you never know when it's going to dump. You should have footwear options, or play it safe.
The only consolation is that the snow won't be slushy on the sidewalk (unless it's late march on), so shoes generally don't get wet, but you can get salt stains on shoes crossing streets that are wet, or slushy.

Yes I noticed too. Still the burden of carrying four stars was way too much, three stars much better

No probably only about 10 pairs regularly for work. Slippers about house. Boots only in winter and live in my reefs in the summer. But I have had some for a long time but they all do get worn at some stage depending on what I am wearing.

Typical female question here..... We are going to Jasper end of February, how much snow is lkely to be in the town? I want to make sure I have the right footwear for walking to the bars / restaurants but don't really want to trudge around in my Timberlands if there isn't much snow in the town  not suggesting wearing stilletos either!

I have been skiing for six years now and have never managed to get my apres boots right. The first holiday I bought suede boots with sheepskin linings. Not practical they kept my feet warm, but the suede gets wet and not much tread on the bottom, so slippy. Next year bought some columbia boots, waterproof and plenty of tread but were just not warm enough. Third year bought something like timberlands, again waterproof, plenty of tread but so heavy my legs ached and I got bad blisters.
Then I bought some solomon boots, as did Hubby, not exactly attractive but covered all points, waterproof, warm, comfy with good tread. I wish I had invested in a good pair of boots in the first place. I plan on getting some Sorel boots for next year just because they will be okay for walking and going into bars, but my trusty solomons will be going with me as well.

My name is not Imelda Marcos. Oh I forgot a pair of purple striped welly boots 73 pairs.
