Passo Tonale

I notice that Passo Tonale was top of the list yesterday for snow fall on Italian resorts - promising for January then!

Has anyone experience of the ski school tutors there?

Passo just had a big dump with more to come this week - great place for beginners and those needing to build confidance. Great instructors and as the man says, try the yellow umbrella followed by El Bait is the place after a hard day on the piste. I have been 3 times and the runs down in Ponti are great for taking people once they have mastered Passo. You also have to remember that as it is south facing it gets a fair bit of sunshine, the better slopes are at Ponti 8)

I'm going on my first skiing holiday to Passo Tonale on 2nd January and can't wait!! I've been learning all year and went up to Scotland in January. Is anyone else goin the same time as me?

30th Jan for me,likewise first time and cant wait, So can I expect a full report from you when you get back :)

Im out on the 9th Jan and then Half Term.

Im going on 2nd, staying in Flora Alpina. Conditions look fantastic at the moment although the temperatures were up around 4 degrees at 2100 metres today, looks like it may snow tommorow though.
Pleased I have not gone for another year in Neiderau, does not look overly promisng there at the moment. At least Tonale is snow sure. 20 of 21 lifts open today and 4 of the 8 next door.
Not been to italy to ski before but really looking forward to it.
