Snow homes are they the same as Igloo's :shock:

No. They are chalet style B&Bs usually, nice sized rooms, usually ensuite, many have a balcony. Make the French apartments look like shoe boxes. Mind you, my Adidas shoe box makes a French apartment look like a match box...

Very rarely use french apartments far too cramped, I like a bit of space :lol:

Dunno much about the 'Snowhome' thing, but the place we booked for March this year was 99 Euro's each with 5 of us sharing an apartment-style flat. 2 bedrooms, self contained kitchen, toilet and shower etc. Fresh bread delivered on a morning and the Billa Supermarket was 5 mins down the road. Had the whole floor to ourselves so the balcony was on 2 sides. Hell, they even had a SNES with Mario and Donkey Kong Country...

We booked it on the Mayrhofen website thanks to the info provided by all you good people.
