It's a Twinner Sports Shop;

They just look a bit more professional compared to other sites. Hope it's not a facade haha.

Fingers crossed for ya :D

It was Sport 2000 in Chamonix Sud, who gave me dismal kit. Twinner have a better reputation.

Now that you mention it, Sport 2000 is where I recieved my naff kit in Flaine and again in Tignes (Although the Army arranged the hire in Tignes!)

Fingers are crossed :-)

There is another issue to consider with ski hire - insurance. Some cheaper rental organisations are, apparently, not properly set up insurance-wise.

Our son and his mates had little trouble with Twinner the first time they used them 3/4 years ago as they didn't all get the right gear when they booked online. Now we are regular user in the same shop the service has become much better and friendlier. Plus son now speakes fluent French. ) I only hire a pair of offpiste skis when its snowing the night before, but friends have had no bother changing gear if they didn't like it. I think it also depends on the time of year, if its busy you might end up with not so good gear. :cry:
Ready? I was born ready.
