Eeh lad, thaats sheer luxory. We have no street lights, no sunshine, it's either raining or snowing, t'postman calls once a fortnight, and, we are restricted to dial-up internet, have to rely on t'dongle.
An' you try telling that to the young folk of today.

Now I have recently entered the world of iphones, I have collected the following skiing apps which I am yet to test out in resort:

Skimaps - simply pick a resort and download the piste map. Much easier than getting the paper one out on the lift, and a big database to choose from.

Maprika - not entirely sure what this will do for me yet, but I downloaded it for a reason last week.

Simply Piste - online skiwear and hardware.

Snow report - obviously a guide to the weather with live webcams too.

Snoveo - more snow reports and weather. I like to double check.

Ski Tracks - now this is the one I really want to try, as it tracks your usage in a day, and reports back with distance, top and average speed, vertical etc and then gives you a piste map of your resort with what you've done in the day as well as a google earth image with your ski tracks painted in! I like.
