Hey Tino, thank you so much for this, dont know how I didnt find it myself. I agree the Eurostar to Aime would be the best bet but unfortunately last time I looked it was booked out for the 19th of Dec which is when we want to go. This is the first day of service for the season so it doesnt run the night before. Cheers again.

Book him a cheap flight to GVA, and he can catch the bus to Aime. You can go and pick him up from there. Or pick him up in GVA, the airport has short stay parking, and you will be passing through that way I expect.

Thank you both for this information. The Geneva-Aime is prob. the best idea. Although, does anyone know if you can get from Chambery to La Plagne by coach? I've looked at the Altibus website but it doesn't list Chambery airport as a pick up point - maybe you have to get to the town first or something? If I cant figure this out will probably go with the Geneva/Aime option. Thanks again. Kate

Altibus coaches from Chambery to La Plagne run only Saturdays and Sundays. An alternative for the other days is to take a train at Chambery rail Station (taking a taxi from airport to station)
