A fridge is recommended for hibernation because you can regulate the temperature, but you are right bandit, they need air so you have to open it on a regular basis.


In that case keep it in the wine cooler :wink:

I'm quite glad I'm not a Tortoise. I would not enjoy life in the fridge, with some inconsiderate sod, turning on the bloody light at all hours, while I was trying to get some decent sleep :lol:

These two certainly seemed to enjoy playing out in the snow



Current model has more sense and prefers to keep wrapped up warm when it's grotty outside

Don't be nasty - they may not hibernate in fridges, but they're still cute :D
