Mine are 78mm in the waist. Mrs H's are 80mm. Not particularly wide, but that extra 10-12mm makes a difference and still enables you to ski comfortably on piste. In fact, I found it easier to get an edge on the wider skis, probably because of the sidecut not being as exaggerated as carving skis and therefore naturally a shorter distance to the surface along the side of the ski.
